Sadie Amara Calvano, an American actress who is most well-known for her role as Violet Plunkett on the CBS sitcom "Mom", has gained a lot of fame. Calvano is from California and initially was intrigued by competitive gymnastics. Then, she chose to be an actor. In 2010 she made her debut on screen with an episode of the CBS series 'NCIS.' The biographical crime film J Edgar was her big screen debut just a year following. Through the years, she firmly established herself as one of the most prestigious actors of today's young. In 2011, she was nominated for a Young Artist Award in the category of Best Performance for Young Actresses aged 11-15 for her work in NCIS. In 2013, as the role of a guest on Disney XD's 'Kickin' It' comedy series and received a second nomination for the Young Artist Award. Calvano appeared in a number of episodes of "Mom" in its 4th season. She played the main role in the initial three seasons of the show. She was awarded the Gracie Allen Award in 2015 for the Best Female Actor - Rising Star, thanks to her role in 'Mom.
